Launching the 13th ABF!

The host for the 13th Asian Bird Fair is gearing up and preparing for the upcoming event this November 21-22, 2024!

The Wild Bird Club of the Philippines (WBCP) officially launched the 13th ABF during its club anniversary last July 6 at the Villar SIPAG Hall in Las Pinas City – site of the coming ABF. The launch was graced by the three ABF ExecComm members Mike Lu (Philippines), Victor Yu (Taiwan), and Andrew Sebastian (Malaysia.)

Also present were Philippine Senator Cynthia Villar, whose foundation is sponsoring the event, representatives from the City of Balanga (Bataan), Municipality of Victoria (Tarlac), the Las Pinas-Paranaque Wetland Park (LPPWP), as well as guests from Center for Conservation Innovations (CCI), Team Energy Foundation (TEFI), and Haring Ibon/Bird Finder Philippines who are also sponsors for the upcoming ABF.

All three ABF ExecComm members said some words in relation to the Asian Bird Fair.

After the launch party, an ocular trip to The Tent was made which is going to be the actual site of the 13th ABF. The big space holds much potential for all the delegates and activities planned this November! More updates to come!
