Thank you to everyone who participated in the 9th Asian Bird Fair in Chiayi, Taiwan last November 2018! Here are some photos from the fun and activity-filled first day of the ABF. Click to enlarge each photo!
Day 1 – The first day of the ABF started with booth set-up and the Opening Ceremony. The venue slowly filled with delegates from all over the world and the stage was set. A beautiful dance number featuring the county bird of Chiayi, the Swinhoe’s Pheasant delighted the crowd.
There were lots of activities going on! There were art lessons conducted by Mr. Arnel Telesforo from the Philippines and Mr. Tang Tuck Hong from Malaysia. An Ecotourism Forum was also held while the booth entertained visitors and guests.
The day ended on a colorful note during the Fellowship Dinner hosted by the Director General of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau at the Nice Prince Hotel. Delegates came in their country’s native attires while feasting on the delicious dinner.
